The Kenya Meat Commission invites sealed tenders for SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, AND COMMISSIONING OF A DATABASE SERVER AT ATHI RIVER.

1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National Open Tender using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.

Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours [0800Hours to 1700 Hours] at the address given below.
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website kenyameat.co.ke and the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) www.tenders.go.ke. free of charge.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers downloading documents from a designated website, shall advise the Procurement Entity that they have downloaded the tender documents, giving full contact addresses of the tenderer (email, telephone number and postal address).
All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security amounting to 90,000.00 valid for 120 days from the date of opening. The tender security shall be in the form of either: (a) bank guarantee; (b) a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority and listed by the PPRA or (c) a guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya.

Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the Kenya Meat Headquarters, Officers Mess.
Late tenders will be rejected.
