JUNIOR COURSE VISIT TO KENYA MEAT COMMISSION

Brigadier Joakim N Mwamburi, Deputy Commandant at the Joint Junior Command and staff college (JJCSC) led a group of forty one (41) participants yesterday on an official visit to the Kenya Meat Commission (KMC), Athi River plant.
The Managing Commissioner Brigadier James N. Githaga apprised the JJCSC team on the KMC’s mandate, role in National Development and contribution to Food Security.
Joint Junior Command and staff college (JJCSC) is a college of the National Defence University – Kenya (NDU-K) whose mandate is providing knowledge in security, strategy and enhancing leadership with focus on national development.
The participants were taken through an elaborate debrief and later on a guided factory tour.
KMC Management team present were; Administrative officer Major John Nyamohanga, Production Manager Ms Gaudencia Liambila, Sales and Marketing Manager Ms. Lydia Mandila, Deputy Sales & Marketing Manager Major Simon Nzuki and the Asst. Manager, Corporate Communications Office Ms Nancy K. Jepkoech.
