EGYPTIAN DEFENCE ATTACHÉ (DA) VISITS KMC ATHI RIVER.

Col Mohamed Freedy, Egyptian DA to Kenya visited KMC today. This is a follow up meeting after KMC’s top management visit to Cairo last year September.
Cooperation between Kenya Meat Commission and Egypt’s National Service Project Organization (NSPO) was established and initiated by both Kenya and Egypt’s , Chief Commander of Forces (CDF)
The Commission led by Brigadier James N. Githaga hosted today’s meeting with the DA and discussed various areas of Cooperation, Collaboration and mutual benefit in the presence of select KMC’s departmental managers.
The three key areas of collaboration include; purchase and sale of KMC’s meat and meat products, benchmarking on newest technologies and equipment and Capacity building of KMC staff through training.
Egypt has a deficit of 69% of beef and the Commission is working together with the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO), which is the umbrella body for fifty two (52) military companies spread across different sectors of the Egyptian economy, to close on the shortage of beef in the country as well as create revenue for the development of both countries.
