KMC continues to expand its market base by establishing more franchise outlets both in Nairobi and Mombasa. This week the prospective franchise outlets employees are undergoing a rigorous training at the Commission Headquarters in Athi River.

The main objective is to equip the employees with skills and knowledge to run efficiently and effectively franchile outlets Nyama Haven shops.

The training is being led by the Managing Commissioner Brig James N Githaga together with various sections heads including Sales & Marketing, Production, Livestock, Quality Assurance and Engineering. This will form a basis for setting equal standards in service delivery across the Nyama Haven shops.

Among the topics being covered are; safe meat handling, personal hygiene, health & quality standards, marketing strategies and customer relationship management.

The trainees are equally being taken on a guided factory tour specifically the cutbeef area so as to be able to see and understand the various meat cuts and the packaging process for meat and meat products is done.The tour also includes visiting KMC Nyama Haven shop, whereby they get to witness how KMC employees manage sales, hygiene and clients.

KMC will be launching in April three (3) and two (2) more franchise outlets in Nairobi and Mombasa respectively.
