The Kenya Meat Commission top management is passionate in supporting and implementing fully its strategic directive that states, ‘We (KMC) shall consistently purchase quality livestock, process efficiently into high quality meat and meat products.” This is being achieved through various avenues including training the top management on Quality Management Systems based on ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Today marked the end of a three day workshop which centred on “Documentation”.

The workshop emphasized on providing information for cross-functional groups so that they may understand better inter-relationships within the organization.

The KMC team was led by the Chief Operations Officer Colonel Rajab O. Mohammed and training was undertaken by officials from Kenya Bureau of Standards under the National Quality Institute, Mr. John Mandi and Mr. Humphrey Okaka.
