In the spirit of lighting each others candle for a better tomorrow, KMC continues to give opportunity for young generations to learn and expand their knowledge as pertains to food processing.
On the 6/02/2023 KMC hosted an educational tour for Animal Health and Industry Training Institute(AHITI) students. The team was received by the Administrative Officer Major J C Nyamohanga who gave them a debrief on KMC processes and the Quality Assurance Manager Ms. Sarah Chepkoech who on the otherhand took the students through hygienic and safety standards upheld by KMC to ensure quality, safe and healthy meat and meat products.
The students were later taken on a guided factory tour by the Production team led by Mr. Jairus Onguko. The students were able to elaborately learn on all of the plant’s processes and this knowledge becomes handy and relatable to animal health practices course they undertake.
